Graduate in Visual Arts in the University of Berne, Switzerland. Began working as professional photographer in 1970. He has fixed residence in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1974. Works since 1988 as director of publicity films in the institutional advertisement and publicity areas. Has received, throughout his career as publicity photographer, several prizes, among which are the Golden Medal in several editions of Brazil’s Art Directors Club Awards; Golden Lion Awards (Cannes Festival); Professional of Year Award (Rede Globo); Clio Awards (New York); Conrado Wessel Foundation Award; and Photographer of the Year (Brazilian Association of Photography).
